- Thousands of irish drivers only got provisional license: as indicated in the Irish Independent, 101 000 are on their third ( or more ) provisional license, which means they are unqualified driver who failed the test. Worst part you don't need to had a single driving lesson for that, you only need to apply for the test ( without even have to pass it ) in order to have your provisional license renewed. There is something like 20% (431 895 is the exact figure) of the drivers in ireland who only holds a provisional license.
